This was an exercise in shallow depth of field and getting the focus where I wanted it to be. I was moderately successful. This was all done with manual focus so not too bad I guess.

The way you used the focus on the bottom picture gives the pencils a sense of motion as if you caught a picture of them as they were falling out of the can. I really like this one.
